Levin Mayoral Reception and Marae Visit
Following the conference on Thursday, 28 October, a Mayoral Reception for all Koha Conference Delegates will be held in the birth place of Koha, Levin in the Horowhenua.
After the reception, we will travel on to the Kawiu Marae for a powhiri (traditional Māori welcome) and meal.
Spend the morning after the conference recovering in one of Wellington's many cafes, or exploring the sights. The bus will depart from the conference venue at 1:00pm (new time).
The bus will return from Levin at approximately 10p.m. on Thursday evening.
Costs
The trip costs NZ$75 per person. This will include:
- Return bus trip from Wellington
- Dinner on the marae
If you are coming to KohaCon10, make the most of your trip, and take up this opportunity to see some heartland New Zealand and visit the library where Koha was born.
